When we step onto the mat, we often view yoga poses—asanas—as purely physical efforts. Think of a yoga pose not as a photograph you must perfectly capture, but as a vessel being slowly filled with awareness. Just as a potter carefully molds clay with patience and reverence, your sustained breath shapes the pose, allowing it to become a strong container for calm consciousness. If the vessel is rushed or forced, it may crack. If it is molded with patience, it holds light.

Practical Yoga Tip: When practicing standing balances, try gently closing your eyes for just three full breaths. This removes the distraction of visual input and forces your inner equilibrium system to engage more fully, revealing the subtle shifts needed for true, authentic balance.
